"E-quality/E-inclusion: The net as a service to citizens"
The La Spezia city council is building up a new civic network called 'Spezia.net'; it is intended to be an accessible and usable civic network.
The project's main goal is to provide information and services to the whole community: on that purpose the municipality is working in collaboration with the local Consult for Disabilities. Not only the new network will respect the accessibility requirements, but it will also include a practical evaluation (procedure) of the developing process, the communication system and the online services provided to citizens. In that way Spezia.net aims to become a state-of-the-art civic network.
This open event is intended to present 'Spezia.net' and its peculiar developing process. More information on the event's programme is available.
